@iammistahwolf The plugin has some kind of problem. In 3ds max, the model is completely smooth and all polygons are sewn together. But after export, each polygon becomes separate, due to which lighting artifacts and seams appear. I talked about this with the author, but he is constantly "type" busy.
What is the point in these construction sites ?
@iammistahwolf Many irregularities, seams and problems with lighting, I now can not solve. You need to wait for the GIMS update for 3ds max. The author is very lazy, I doubt that he will make an update even in the coming year =(
- The lower part now replaces the model lowr_015_r.ydd (maybe this will help someone who plays FiveM and other fan multiplayer)
- Corrected all body textures (tones).
- Fully rebuilt archive. Now it weighs only 7mb. The old weight was an OpenIV bug, which is now fixed.
- There is a problem with the lighting of the model (as if it consists of triangles). Unfortunately, I can’t do anything about it until the GIMS author updates his script.
Why so few screenshots ? Need more screenshots ? From all possible angles !
@Vallorz https://i.imgur.com/LVLOGRt.png Something like that ? It’s hard for me to understand.
@EmmiWest187 Look at the screenshots. He set the minimum settings. For him, it looks like an unreal engine 5 demo.
@Rtox Read the description carefully. GIMS only works on 3ds max 2009-2016. Another fan version for 2017-2020 !!! is BROKEN !!!, it is NOT COMPATIBLE with the original and does not work correctly.
@legendario9991 It seems like nothing. Only with the help of Zmodeler and most likely only the licensed version, as old "free" ones do not support some new shaders. GIMS does not support the yft format, which is used for machines and various destructible objects.
@legendario9991 From the beginning, OpenIV developers need to invent the OFT format, only then you need to ask for support for this format in GIMS. Those. write OpenIV from the beginning.
