This mod is still working with 1.0.1365.1
However, it seems to be missing some sections of sea water.
And it also making some parts of the city dried to no-water in tsunami mode.
Hope there will be an update of this.
@kingsbros66 The script can't detect what character you used before addonpeds loaded. It just spawn you as player_0 (Michael) to avoid crashing your game. With author Meth0d didn't responding to the comment section. I don't think we will get any update of this mod. If it cease to work in the future. We probably have to downgrade our game.
@Yggdrasilx The method @kubix1006 mentioned above is a kind of downgrading your GTA5 to 1.0.1290.2. So, it needs to be erase the current record from your system registry. And also need to erase any files that not compatible with 1.0.1290.2.
However, just as I mentioned, this mod is still working with the latest version 1.0.1365.1
You don't have to downgrade your GTA5
If you can't get the menu to show up.
It is possibly an error with ScriptHookV more than the version of the game.
This mod still work with the latest patch 1.43 build 1.0.1365.1
For people who couldn't get the menu to show up.
It is possible a problem with your ScriptHookV
You have to update it to the latest version to get it work with 1.0.1365.1
And have OpenIV.asi manage your mod folder.
ONLY make changes in mod folder, DO NOT edit the original files.
If the game detected any changes in original files.
It will trigger the update process to recover those files.
The file "update.rpf" can ONLY work with the corresponding version of GTA5.exe
If your game is patched to 1.0.1365.1
You should use the one that comes with 1.0.1365.1
And use OpenIV to re-modding (add back) all your mods.
Any older version of that file is not compatible with 1.0.1365.1
REMEMBER that all mods including ScriptHookV and update.rpf
should match the version of your GTA5.exe
If you have downgraded/rewinded to an older version.
You should re-download the corresponding version of ScriptHookV and update.rpf
@Uncle-F superman model files come with this mod by default. So, if superman model was not found. That's mean the game didn't load the modified peds.rpf. It may because 1.) You put them in wrong folder. 2.) You forgot to add line in dlclists.xml. 3.) You put them in OpenIV mods folder, but somehow OpenIV.asi didn't work.
While using OpenIV mods folder to separate modded and vanilla files. You have to make sure that OpenIV.asi is working. Since OpenIV.asi is the mod that modified the load-order to force the game to load contents in mods folder.
One more thing.
I'm not familiar with any programming.
So I can't continues what meth0d had left behind.
If R* patch the game next time. This mod may probably cease working.
(Although R* did say they won't banning any single-player mod. But since this one is also modifying core game file like "update.rpf". R* may ban any player that have modified game files if you forgot to switch back to vanilla files before going online.)
@Youngcole13 I think that is because this mod is using the in-game selection menu. For a list longer than 18 lines it may crash the game. (That's why simple trainer won't use in-game menu.) And you can also spawn peds by their name through any trainer mod.
For people who didn't get the menu to show up with pressing "L".
It's probably your ScriptHookV has crashed.
Don't install any custom peds before you run this mod at least once.
And remember to hit the REBUILD button when finished adding peds.
There may also be some other mods that will get conflicted and crashing your ScriptHookV.
For people who can't get the ped model or texture showing up.
Its probably errors in the model file. Remember that there are two types of add-on peds.
Stream and normal, normal ped come with ytd and ydd model files.
While stream ped come with a folder instead of just one model file.
You have to place them in peds.rpf and select the correct type.
I've found a pretty old tutorial video, it using an old version, but steps are the same.
@BrennanWal Drag the xml file over the exe to force the program load with it.
@Youngcole13 If you have install OpenIV.asi. Next time you modify a file with OpenIV. It will let you clone that file to mods folder. With OpenIV.asi, the game will load files inside the mods folder instead of loading the vanilla one. If you want to play vanilla/online mode, just simply rename dinput8.dll to cease ScripthookV from working. And also, you have to move the addonpeds folder to "(GTAV path)\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks". That will help keeps the original game directory clean.
